Being an Intern at Fueld

Hello, I’m Alicia Cripps, and over the past month, I’ve had the amazing opportunity to intern at Fueld. Here’s how my experience went:
As a Fashion Marketing and Management student, I'm drawn to the cross-over between creativity and business strategy, where digital marketing plays an important role. With brands emphasising their digital presence, I recognised that further understanding my knowledge in this area is essential for my future career.
Going into this internship, I hoped to gain experience with digital marketing tools, contribute creatively, and learn from a team of experts. I wanted to understand how Fueld creates engaging content for clients, develops effective social media strategies, and uses website analytics to track and improve performance, which I plan to later apply this knowledge to my studies and future career. I also wanted to understand how Fueld helps clients connect with their audiences, build brand loyalty, and stay competitive. I reached out to Fueld because of their innovative marketing strategies and their experience working with clients across various industries.
Over the past month, this internship has provided me with valuable industry-relevant skills. I’ve gained skills in competitor analysis, brainstorming creative social media ideas, conducting keyword research for SEOs, and tracking website analytics to measure performance for brands Fueld works with, including Pretty Lavish, Charli London, and Nobl. Identifying and analysing these elements has given me a stronger understanding of how Fueld optimises a brand's online visibility.
The work environment at Fueld is incredibly supportive. I’ve collaborated with multiple team members, who have guided and supported me in various tasks. Also, sitting in on meetings has given me a further understanding of how digital marketing strategies are developed and executed, as well as insights into how different departments work together to meet client goals and adapt to industry trends.
Moving forward I plan to integrate what I have learnt at Fueld into my degree work and future career plans. Ultimately, this internship has confirmed my interest for digital marketing given me the tools and confidence to move forward in this field.
