Describe your role at Fueld
Paid Media Manager

What do you love most about your role?
I love the blend of creative problem solving and data analysis. I love thinking like a consumer and coming up with creative marketing solutions, especially with paid social as this is my bread and butter!
What captures an audience? How can we translate this to impactful, bespoke campaigns for each unique brand and offering? Answering these questions is what makes me tick.

Favourite part about working for Fueld?
Although I’m just starting my journey at Fueld, the warm welcome from the team and our clients has been incredible. The culture here is one of curiosity and striving for excellence, and that’s something that motivates me every single day.

What’s your secret to creating campaigns that really resonate with health and wellbeing audiences?
Arguably everyone has an interest in health and wellbeing, big or small. That makes the net we *could* cast rather large. It’s about finding a brand’s niche, honing into their USPs and delivering this to the audience in impactful ways – through well-researched creative and audience strategy.
I’m a big advocate for upper funnel activity – introducing new users and nurturing an audience to make your brand a name they don’t just recall but respect and trust. Two things that are very important in health and wellbeing.

What’s your favourite health or wellbeing habit that keeps you at your best?
Yoga and stretching. I’ve been doing yoga on-and-off for 8 years, and I definitely feel it when I’m in the ‘off’.
Additionally, running! Another long-time love, the combination of planning routes and run types, using different types of runs for different goals, balancing when to push for performance and when to hold back and recuperate – it’s actually a lot like paid media marketing when you think about it! Ha!

Lightning Round
- Coffee, tea, or smoothie? – Coffee, always.
- Favourite social media platform for work or fun? – Short-form video is what excites me! Especially TikTok or Instagram reels native content. There are lots of things that can be done with short-form video, but I love the opportunity for fun and transparent content, especially person-focused or testimonial.
- Walk, gym, cycle or yoga – what’s your vibe? – Yoga and getting outside!
- Favourite podcast, blog, or book for inspiration? – This is a hard one! I love YouTube for inspiration, but I’m partial to a book, especially when it comes to health and wellness. The self-improvement genre is huge!
- Go-to productivity hack? – Switching it up – change environment, take a break – sometimes ideas need space to fully bloom. Secondary if needed – talking it out! Sometimes saying it out loud to your team and working collaboratively is what work needs to take it to the next level.
- If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be? – Rice bowls – I’ve been loving putting together a bowl with lots of different tasty flavours. A protein like mushrooms or chicken, seasoned well. Plus complimentary other components like avocado, broccoli or nori sheets for an asian-inspired bowl! My favourite bowl I’ve made has been a miso mushroom rice bowl, but a close contender is a good chilli bowl with all the trimmings (cheese, guac, sour cream, etc.).
