Describe your role at Fueld

As Fueld’s content lead, people think my job is just about writing. But really, it’s about:

  • Finding out what makes your business special
  • Conveying that clearly to the right audience
  • Breaking down barriers that prevent a sale

That’s how I turn strangers and sceptics into your most loyal customers – complete with a data-driven SEO strategy to help you dominate your competitors!

What do you love most about your job?

Problem solving.

To me, delivering stellar content and strong SEO feels like a puzzle. What pieces go in which places to get the best results? Figuring out what to do can be a challenge. But it’s worth it when you know you’ve made something brilliant.

What’s your secret to creating campaigns that really resonate with health and wellbeing audiences?

Listening to people’s real needs.

There are billions of blogs, posts and landing pages out there that repeat the same generic advice. And a lot of it relies on outdated knowledge. But when you can figure out exactly what customers want and offer a clear, practical, proven solution, you’re 99% of the way to making a sale.

What’s your favourite health or wellbeing habit that keeps you at your best?

Drink a big glass of water as soon as you wake up. Instant rehydration gets you ready for a good day.

Lightning Round

  • Coffee, Tea or Smoothie? – Coffee in the morning, smoothie at noon, herbal tea in the evening.
  • Favourite social media platform for work or fun? – YouTube. I’ve got 10-hour podcasts running almost constantly!
  • Walk, gym, cycle or yoga – what’s your vibe? – Weightlifting at the gym 4+ times a week, finishing up with yoga stretching for quicker recovery.
  • Favourite podcast, blog, or book for inspiration? – ‘How to Write Better Copy’ by Steve Harrison. Repeatedly practicing the basics means better content every time.
  • Go-to productivity hack? – When you’re working on a big project, knock out a few smaller projects as you go. It helps break things up and keeps you from worrying about what’s on the horizon.
  • If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be? – Homemade gyudon – beef and onions cooked in teriyaki sauce over short-grain rice with an egg on top (with a vibrant side salad to get those veggies in!).
