Describe your role at Fueld
I’m the senior paid media manager at Fueld, though some colleagues affectionately call me the “Google Guy” because of my specialism in paid search. I focus on helping clients unlock the full potential of their campaigns, from strategy to execution.

What do you love most about your role?
I love solving problems. Often, clients come to us frustrated because their paid search campaigns aren’t delivering the results they expect. I enjoy digging into an account, uncovering the root cause and turning things around. There’s nothing more satisfying than seeing a campaign start performing better and knowing I’ve helped a client achieve their goals.

What’s your secret to creating campaigns that really resonate with health and wellbeing audiences?
The key is truly understanding the client’s solution and the challenge it addresses. Once you know who experiences that challenge and why it matters to them, you can deliver the right message, at the right time, on the right channel.
It’s not just about promoting an amazing product. It’s about showing the audience why they should care and how it’ll help them live a healthier, happier life.

What’s your favourite health or wellbeing habit that keeps you at your best?
I’m a bit of a bowls fan! I play Short Mat Bowls, which is perfect when full-length greens aren’t accessible.
With a busy home life and a young family, bowls gives me some much-needed escape. It clears my mind, sharpens my focus, keeps me moving and offers a bit of strategy and friendly competition.

Lightning Round
- Coffee, tea, or smoothie? – Has to be a good cup of tea – nothing else quite hits the spot.
- Favourite social media platform for work or fun? – I spend way too much time scrolling on TikTok, but I also love catching up with friends and family on Instagram.
- Walk, gym, cycle or yoga – what’s your vibe? – Walking! I live in an area of outstanding natural beauty, so getting outside with the kids and dogs is great exercise, and we often end up on some incredible little adventures.
- Favourite podcast, blog, or book for inspiration? – I’m a sucker for vlogs! I love seeing people talk passionately about their specialist subjects – the more niche, the better. I guess you could call me a bit of a geek!
- Go-to productivity hack? – If you’re doing a repetitive, time-consuming task, pause and ask yourself, “can this be automated?”. AI can’t replace humans (yet!), but it can free up time from manual tasks so you can focus on strategic and creative thinking.
- If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be? – I don’t think I could ever pick just one meal, but if I had to choose a cuisine, it would be Italian (although I’d make an exception for Christmas Day!).
